Port Royale 2 En Patch

Lo so! Te l'ho promesso! Appena vieni ti ci porto! )

Spaghetti di kamut con radicchio e noci

I stewed red chicory, late, sautéed with onions. I added the walnuts in season for a few minutes of cooking.
I spent the mixer adding the mixture of cream (I normal, Francesca recommends that soy) in order to have a very soft, creamy sauce for spaghetti. Keep
by a few tablespoons of pasta cooking water if the mixture would be too dense!

Andromeda See Individual Stars

"Anatra all'arancia meccanica" di Wu Ming

notice to mariners: this is not a book of Wu Ming, or rather should be, and in a way it is, but at the same time manages to be more. Those who expect a
colossal costume De Gaudentiis or a novel about the styles that have become accustomed narrativband without satiate yet, take a huge crab . Just look at the cover and the title to understand it.
So what is this standing location halfway between fiction and fantacucina?
E 'a memorial of the past decade. A collection of photographs of the "year zero" sgembe and unexpected perspectives. The most laboratory and free of their craft workshop. A concatenation of experiments, short pieces beautifully with her life, which in succession and echoed each other in ways acrobatic, very clear or invisible, becomes a symphony. Thomas De
Lorenzis in the text that pops up, please read this anthology, with the Ninth of "Ludwig Van" in the background . The combination of the film came from the pen of Burgess is not accidental, nor due to carelessness of scribes without enamel. The stories unfold, page after page, it acquired a dynamic that really recall the last work of Beethoven. The only difference is the location of first two movements, which in this case are mixed together at this point, to start directly from the second, then reassembled and reorganized in the various leaks that lead to the final triumph.
L 'Overture , of \u200b\u200bcourse, De Lorenzis.

First movement
The symphony, after heating of the instruments, starting directly from Very lively, with the first five stories. For those who have never read them online , the effect would be to slap a sudden, a knee in the teeth, taking the piss out of an anarchist chef to become too refined palates. The stories, in fact, are very rough, vibrant mixed irony and shameless, almost sour. Written between the summer of 2000 and spring 2001, flash red fire, as alerted by the events of July and September following. The world of cinema, publishing and social mobilization in Italy, are separated by two great apocryphal stories about the characters of Disney: The Nazi Topo Lino and incazzattissimo Anatrini be aware of their nature and are changing the world created in the states in muted hypocritically 20s.
At the time the band was just starting out, overflowing adrenaline and enthusiasm. They give the idea of \u200b\u200bhaving crushed an exorbitant number of words, at that time, at a pace that to embarrass King. The narrative style at first glance may turn up their nose. More trattoria that class restaurant for the eyes of stuffy literary snob. The taste is rustic, right from the restaurant. But we are talking about a lady restaurant! Of those where to be morning in a flash.
realign the eyes and ears, the pages begin to flow relentlessly, leaving delighted but still hungry from the end of each story. Ready
the second course.

Second movement
The second movement is relaxed, apparently. The irony scorticante you file your nails, it recesses between the folds of the words and the time (in this case, the stories range from '03 to the 'beginning of '08). The tone remains Allegro ma non troppo, a little stately . An attempt by the rearrangement Stunning start. With a story on breeding and slaughtering of pigs, which requires a radical reconsideration of its power. The following full immersion eco-mythological readjusts the guts, muscle and jaws're more relaxed, caressed by the relentlessness of poetic song. But it is with the fumes of opiates "In Like Flynn" that aficionados of the novels will find themselves on familiar tracks . It has already more than half anthology, but the road towards the end is still long.

Between the second and third movement is "Gap99" story too short for its beauty, in which the team gets straight to the heart of the issue of safety / racism. 'S one of those stories that you would read again and again, that you would like to search the characters, to see for miles breathe ink. But having said that there is to say, it ends. The exact spot where he had to. Leaving those who are obliged by law to continue.

Third Movement
Now what was hidden under a patina of irony and good writing breaks through the pages and shows. Change the pace. Change the tone, taste. The colors. The third movement is a double movement in a single gesture: Adagio molto cantabile, Andante moderato . The style is in full maturity, the narrative rhythm slows down, takes off guard again and literally leave di merda. Due storie scritte in maniera esemplare, cariche di contenuti non così scontati come sembrerebbe the reader in a hurry, we'll beat accompaganano unprepared for the final triumph.
Final
Yes, because "The institution of the pack" is something that really gets behind it. You are here assured that you read a good anthology, in bed or chair, in the heat, maybe it's snowing outside as well, and you find yourself struggling with a story in verse to swallow whole and raw. Inspired by the case of Eluana, manages to touch delicate strings, describing the shameful media circus walking corpses of those who claim to teach the next thing life is. It can do this using both great gentleness and ferocity, deftly dosandole and placing an irony, however, around the black beads of lead. This is to begin the final . The description of decay and rot that seems to soar in recent years. When growing
touch of vertigo lack of communication between institutions and social realities of a region (and who, in the middle, trying to understand early as the second functions) and, in an Orwellian shades, the question of 'Public Water . They are short stories, unreal (?) But a dazzling vividness. As explained on the back cover are myths of a future anterior, there was blowing hard on the neck, revolutionize every dormant synapses.
And suddenly, the rubble occur in flat landscapes, unhealthy, back wild and feral. We wander among the bodies of community, language and memories, in a low post-crisis situations where the distances between places and memories ririempiono of themselves. Pessimism? Not even talking about it. If there is one thing that distinguishes Wu Ming is the beauty inside and after each defeat. His continuing. Behind every battle, every catastrophe, there is the continuation of life, its reorganization along the continuum. If in ' final explosion of "Ludwig Van" they sang a hymn to joy, to conclude the anthology and the wonderful story "Arzèstula" there is a veritable tribute to the life and stories that populate it.

short, "Duck Orange Clockwork is a book extremely smooth, full of obstacles, pitfalls and subtleties that can not leave unsatisfied. Novel just across the years spent with one eye fixed firmly to the future, further proof of who is (not), Wu Ming, for whom, as some newspapers apparently devoid of chains, she obstinately continues to not understand. Reflecting are the ones who tell us:
So who are these Wu Ming ? They are bastards, the spoilsport, the pain in the ass. It is the narrative of the plunger, hydraulic fluids that flow pipelines. Are the packet that flows into the water to dissolve the residue the septic tank. They are people who take satisfaction. They are the best minds of degeneration. Have what it takes. And in these words there is an accent that is not essential.
Start your trip, shit. Hands on the ball and away you go!

Knit Billed Hat Pattern

[ publish the speech Piero Calamandrei delivered on 11 February 1950 the third congress of the Association in Defence of the national school. A long speech, dense and, in its actuality, disturbing. If certain subjects were already so feel sixty years ago, one wonders what has been done, in practice, to date and where we stand (some answers and ideas in this essential reading ).
The bold and the italics are ours. I'm totally partial and insufficient to understand the significance of his words, but should have been highlighting entire sentences or paragraphs. So we focused on some of the most significant.
Good reading]

(...) The school, as I see it, is an organ of "constitutional". It has its place, its importance to the center of the complex of organs that make up the Constitution. As you know (you all have read our Constitution), in the second part of the Constitution, what is called "state law" describes those organs through which it expresses the will of the people. Those organs through which policy becomes law, vital and healthy political struggles are transformed into laws. Now, when you can think of asking what are the constitutional bodies, all of you will naturally answer: are the houses, the Chamber of Deputies, the Senate, the President of the Republic, the Judiciary, but there will think of between these bodies also consider the school, which is a vital organ instead of democracy as we conceive. If you were to make a comparison between the constitutional body and the human organism, one would say that the school corresponds to those organs which have the function in the human body to create blood (...).

The school, the central organ of democracy, because it helps to solve what we believe is the central problem of democracy: the formation of the ruling class. The formation of the ruling class, not only in the sense of the political class, that class that is sitting in Parliament and discuss and talk (and even screaming) that is at the top of the organs most specifically political but also cultural and leadership in the technical sense: those who are in charge of shops and businesses, teaching, writing, artists, professionals, poets. This is the problem of democracy, the creation of this class, which should not be a hereditary caste , closed, an oligarchy, a church, a priesthood, an order. No. In our thinking about democracy, the ruling class must be open and constantly renewed by the influx to the top of the best elements of all classes, of all categories . Each class, each class must be able to leave upwards its best elements, because each of them may temporarily, temporarily, for that brief moment of life that fate allows each of us, helping to bring his work, his best personal qualities to the advancement of society ( ...).

must serve democracy, allowing every man worthy to have his share of sunshine and dignity. But this can only do so the school, which is the corollary of universal suffrage. The school, which has precisely this character up a political sense, because it alone can help you choose , it can only help to create people worthy of being chosen, which normally surface from all walks of life.
You see, this image is enshrined in a constitutional article, albeit with a less imaginative formula. "Article. 34, where it is said: "The school is open to all. Capable and deserving pupils, even without financial resources, have the right to attain the highest levels of education." This is the most important article of our Constitution. One must appreciate the political and social value of this article. Seminarium rei I published, said the Latin marriage. We could say the school: I published seminarium offenders: the school draws the best for the rinnovazione continua, quotidiana della classe dirigente.
The school in the state, the democratic school is a school that has a unifying effect, is the school of all, create citizens, not create either Catholics or Protestants or Marxists. The school is an expression of another article of the Constitution: Article. 3: "All citizens have equal social status and are equal before the law, without distinction of sex, race, language, religion, political opinion, of personal and social conditions." And the art. 151: "All citizens are eligible for public office and for elective positions on equal terms, according to the requirements established by law." Of these two items should be the instrument of state school , instrument of this civic equality, in this respect for the freedom of all faiths and of all opinions (...).
When public school is so strong and confident, then, but only then, the private school is not dangerous. Then, but only then, the private school can be an asset. It can be a good thing that private forces, educational initiatives of classes, religious groups, political groups, philosophies, cultural trends of, cooperate with the state to expand, to stimulate, and renew attempts with a variety of culture. In family law, enshrined in another article of the Constitution, Article 30, to instruct and educate their children, this opportunity is to be given to families to make their children attend schools of their choice and then allow the establishment of schools that best correspond with certain guarantees that we will now see the political preferences, religious, cultural of that family. But let us make well aware that while the public school is an expression of unity, cohesion, civic equality , to the private school is an expression of diversity, which may mean heterogeneity of current decentralized system which the State must prevent the currents become disintegrating. The private school, in other words, it is designed to this.
School of the Republic, the state school, the school is not a philosophy, a religion, a political party, a sect. So because private schools can be a good rising and not a danger, you must: (1) that the State and monitor the controls and that are neutral, impartial between them. does not favor one group of private schools to the detriment of others. (2) that private schools correspond to certain minimum level of seriousness of organization. Only in this way and other more precise, that are soon to tell, you can have the advantage of co-existence of public schools with private school. The race is between the schools statali e le private.

Ma c'è un'altra forma per arrivare to transform the school in the State party school or sect. Totalitarianism subtle, indirect, torpid, sluggish like some pneumonias that are without fever, but are dangerous. Let us assume, so theoretically, there is a ruling party, a ruling party, which, however, formally wants to respect the constitution, not want to violate the substance. It does not make the march on Rome and transform the classroom space for the paddles, but wants to establish, without opinion, a disguised dictatorship. So, what to do to gain control of schools and to transform the State schools into Party schools? He realizes that the State schools have the defect of being impartial. There is a certain resistance, in those schools is always there, even under fascism has been there. Then, the dominant party follows another path (it's all a theoretical hypothesis, mind you).

Start neglecting public schools, to discredit, to impoverish. Let it anemizzino and begins to encourage private schools . Not all private schools. The schools of his party, that party. And then all these treatments are beginning to go to private schools. Cure of money and privileges. It begins even advise the boys to go to these schools , because basically it says are better than those of the state. And maybe give themselves awards, as now I will tell you, or proposes to give awards to citizens who are willing to send their children to public schools rather than private schools. A "those" private schools. exams are easier, unless you study and you do best . So the private school becomes a privileged school. The ruling party, could not transform the State schools openly in Party schools, send the dogs to schools to give priority to the state's private schools.
careful, friends, this conference this is the point that we must discuss. Warning, this is the recipe. We must keep an eye on i cuochi di questa bassa cucina.
Quest'ultimo is the most dangerous. "The most dangerous phase of the whole operation (...). This then is the point, is the most dangerous method. Money for all citizens, all taxpayers of all believers in different religions, all belonging to different parties, which instead is intended to contribute to the schools of one religion, one sect, of one party.

To predict this risk, it did not take a lot of mischief. During the Constituent Assembly, to prevent it in art. 33 of the Constitution was put this provision: "Public and private persons have the right to establish schools and educational institutions at no cost to the state." As you know this arose from a compromise formula, and like all the formulas presented by a compromise, offering the right today to sophistical interpretations (...). But there's another issue that came up, which should allow to circumvent the law. This is what we lawyers call the "circumvention of the law", which is that something that customers ask causidici unscrupulous, to which the customer is directed to find out how it can break the law to observe figuring (...) . And so out came the idea of \u200b\u200bfamily allowance, of 'family allowance school.

Minister of Education at the International Congress of the Family Institute, said the school private should be used to "stimulate" the most non-state expenditures for education, but should not be excluded that the state gives subsidies to private schools. But he added: think, if a father wants to send his son to private school, they need to pay taxes. And this father is a citizen as a taxpayer who has already paid his fee to participate in the spending that the state pays for public schools. So this poor father has to pay twice the fee. Then this worthy citizen who wants to send her son to private school, to lift this double burden, it is given a family allowance. Who wants to send her son to private school, then turns to the state and has a subsidy check.

The
send his son to private school is a right, so says the Constitution, but is a right to have it pay? "A right one, if you want, not exercise, but at their own expense. The citizen who wants to send her son to private school, if you pay, if not send him to public school.
To take a comparison, in the field of Justice could make a similar speech. You know how to get justice courts are public, however, citizens have the right to decide their dispute even by the officials. But arbitration is expensive and often costs hundreds of thousands of dollars. Yet it has never occurred to a citizen who preferisca ai giudici pubblici l'arbitrato, di rivolgersi allo Stato per chiedergli un sussidio allo scopo di pagarsi gli arbitri! (...).

The law, in determining rights and obligations of private education, which calls for equality, it must ensure freedom, a treatment equivalent to that of state schools" (...). Equality, yes, but we must remember that first of all, before granting equality, the state, says the same art. 33, to fix the rights and obligations of the school that gives this tie, and remember that for another paragraph of that article, the state has the task of presenting the general rules on education. So this equality does not mean surrender to ensure, to check the reliability of the studies, programs, teacher qualifications, seriousness evidence. words must avoid this nauseating system, this repulsive system is encouraging schools to compete with the downward : that the state promotes not only the competition of private schools with public schools but that the state encourages this competition in favor of the school where teaching worse, with a real encouragement official bestiality (...).

However, this reform gives me the impression that those figures were fashionable when I was a kid. In those figures could be seen forests, trees, ponds, mountains, all a tangle of branches and birds and many other beautiful things and then under was written: find the hunter. Then, by dint of trying, in a corner, was the hunter with his gun leveled. Although the reform is the hunter with a gun leveled. "The private school that wants to turn into a privileged school. This is the point that matters. Everything else, astronomical figures of billions, will be far in the future, but the private school, if you're not careful, you really really tomorrow. The private school becomes a privileged school and from there begins the totalitarian school, the transformation from school to school in the Democratic party.

And then there's another danger, perhaps even more serious. The danger of disintegration morale of the school. This sense of distrust, cynicism, rather than skepticism that is spreading in schools, especially among young people, is very significant. "The sunset of the ideas of the old school of Gaetano Salvemini, Augusto Monti: reliability, accuracy, honesty, punctuality. These simple ideas. Doing their duty, to teach. And that school is a school of character, forming consciences, to forming honest and loyal. Is spreading the idea that all this is over, that is no more. Today valid support, recommendations, pieces of a party or a parish. The religion that is in itself a serious matter, perhaps most serious, because the most serious thing in life is death, it becomes a despicable excuse for doing their business. This is the danger: the school's moral decay. It is not the school of priests that frightens us, because one hundred years ago there were schools where priests could teach Latin and Italian, which brought forth such men as Carducci. What particularly scares are dishonest, men without character, without faith, without opinions. Ten years ago these men were Fascists, five years ago words were anti-fascists, and now are back under different names, that is, in substance fascist profiteers of the system.

And there is a Another danger to be overcome by discouragement . But we must not be overcome by discouragement. You see, it was rightly said that whoever won the war of 1918 was the Italian school, because those boys, whose bodies are still on the Carso, came out of our schools and our colleges and our universities. But look also at the liberation and resistance that the same thing happened. There were professors and teachers who have given wonderful examples, from prison to martyrdom. A teacher who for many years serenely facing jail fascist is here among us. And all of us, old teachers we have in our heart the names of any students who were able to withstand the torture, which gave blood for the freedom of Italy. Think of these guys that came out of our schools and our thinking about them, do not despair of the future. We are faithful to the Resistance. We must, friends, schools continue to defend the strength and continuity of moral conscience.

SCHOOL. That state is the most serious, and the most suitable for making the city free

The great men of Italian liberalism, even before Cavour, always gave great importance to public education. They were well aware that in a country of ancient and willed ignorance, precisely because of obscurantist domination of the Church and the various foreign rulers, and the school, the only school to train really free citizens, and that liberalism does not penetrate the culture without the consciences and minds of the people. Therefore, they were liberal center-right and center-left, moderate or liberal (I think of Lorenzo Valerio and others), more general education and the school were given priority in all the liberal programs. And the school was from the beginning of the Risorgimento, pubblica, come dovere sociale imposto allo Stato, proprio perché in Italia la scuola “privata” era quella reazionaria tenuta della Chiesa, in particolare dai Gesuiti, ma anche da altri ordini religiosi.
Ci fa piacere, perciò, A table drawn from the schools of the OECD countries in Italy which compared student performance in public and private schools.
"The graph shows the scores of public and private schools in tests conducted in 2006 in Pisa, Italy. Pisa (which stands for Programme for International Student Assessment) is an international study sponsored by the OECD founded with the purpose of assessing every three years, the skills level of the fifteen major industrialized countries. As can be seen clearly, the students of private schools have a level of expertise gained significantly less than that of public school students both in mathematics, both in comprensione del testo, sia nelle competenze scientifiche. Si noti che queste statistiche non tengono conto del livello di istruzione e di reddito dei genitori (più alto nella scuola privata) che mediamente porta a risultati migliori dei figli. Qualora si controllasse per questi fattori il divario sarebbe ancora più accentuato (“ La Voce ”). Per chi è interessato a questo argomento, l’ultima rilevazione Ocse è visibile qui .

Antipanico

E 'has now been a month since the Teatrino Clandestino of Bologna has made the changes and changed skin. Outside, at least, because inside is the same, great price, think-tank, trade and culture as it ever was.
So we decided to look for someone who had a good project for a new installation for the door of the visual space is , studio core of artistic production and research of the theater. An installation that remain in line with the previous one, that was marked by the lively "shades of orange, which, like a lighthouse, was index of openness to others and to other , in the words of Fiorenza Menni, including the originators of the project.

The private
threshold is marked by a polarity inside-outside (...) oriented inward.
I thought to reverse this polarity, with 16 optical peepholes on the door Yes
that allow everyone in Via San Vitale 67 steps to look into.
Whoever is impelled to look through peepholes one of these will generate the curiosity of others, triggering a chain reaction. A generator of temporary communities united by attraction to the unknown.
Every barrier to the private sphere or, as in this case, a public place surrounded by walls that actually make it private, it is broken. A place culture, research, study and experimentation, in itself wide open and where you can sound out various forms of expression, is able to overcome their limitations and opens the road to those who you want to pull over. And it does so strongly emphasizing the culture in recent years has been riddled by shots of the most dangerous form of violence. That disguised meanness and ignorance.
The author is unaware of what is happening not far from him on the same days in which designs and shapes the work. But despite this, it is full of stench and toxins that are increasingly plagued every socio-cultural context. We grew up in the middle, has developed antibodies that enormous self-employment at the minimum echo infectious.
For this arrangement of the sixteen peepholes is well designed and not random.
The locations of the 16 holes, where to apply the peepholes corresponds to the bullet holes in the wall of Mascarella Street, where it was shot to death Francesco Lorusso on March 11, 1977.
The value assumed by the peepholes is therefore twofold. Symbol not only opening to the outside, to every wanderer wandering, his stories and experiences, but also of the shots against a space in which we meet to discuss contemporary of resistance, in which we can compare and all'aletrità open. Perfect allegory for the treatment of the culture in Italy and its reorganization as a result.
addition, it is also a remembrance, not to forget stored underneath the glass wall that, as stated by the artist in this interview, may be considered a work already ' art in itself. A historical stratification preserved entries and references from which the vast scope (just think that the story of the episode, made by a friend at a third grade teacher, did turn up their nose because some parents felt little reliable and has too many cones of shadow ).

I pass that door twice a day, five times a week, warmed by the thought of the strange thread that is rolled up in January, with changes transtemporal around to libraries and theaters, schools compulsory and expression, Preganziol, Bologna, and many other places inside and outside of his boot, and the various forms that the social struggle can take on, every time I've been so battered by that yellow electrical pulses under the porch.
Panic.
There could be no more apt word than that.
